San Clemente Street Festival and Fiesta 5000
The San Clemente Chamber of Commerce is proud is present our 15th Annual Fiesta 5000. The Fiesta Street Festival Block Party and Fiesta 5000 5K Run/Walk/Stride represents a variety of activities that attract numerous families and visitors to the Southern California Coast year after year, approximately 45,000 people will attend this party. The San Clemente Street Festival is held on picturesque Ave. Del Mar, where the two main blocks of downtown San Clemente are dedicated to an entire day of FUN. The Fiesta 5000 begins at 300 S. El Camino Real, just three blocks from the Street Festival. Activities for the day include: The Fiesta 5000 5K Run/Walk/Stride, food and game booths sponsored by local nonprofit organizations, three stages with continuous live music throughout the day, contests for all ages, a Salsa Challenge, arts & crafts show, kiddie rides, a classic car & Harley show, exhibits, clowns, jugglers, face painters and much more. Participants in the Fiesta 5000 enjoy a beautiful course along palm tree lined streets. There are approximately 1,500 runners at this exciting fun run. Individual participants in the race receive medals, which are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 12 age divisions including a wheelchair division. In addition, the Fiesta 5000 will feature a Stroller Division. Contestants pushing Strollers run, walk or stride their way toward the finish line.
