Sports Teams and Information

Anaheim Angels
The Franchise began in the winter of 1960 and the history of the Los Angeles Angels the team moved from Wrigley Field to Dodger Stadium and then 32 seasons at the Anaheim Stadium. In 1996 Edison International Field of Anaheim underwent a $100 million dollar renovation project. In 1997 The Los Angeles Angels opened the season as the Anaheim Angels and since April 1,1998 they play at Edison Field in Anaheim.

EA Sports Supercross
Superscoss is sweeping the country as one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. Edison International Field will host 3 Supercross events in the year 2001. In the past all events have been sellouts with thousands of eager fans anticipating the outcome in the 125cc and 250cc races.

Anaheim Mighty Ducks
Anaheim's own NHL Hockey Team. Host to teams such as the Detroit Red Wings and the Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Mighty Ducks have played hard and with a great deal of determination. While in Anaheim the Mighty Ducks battle their opponents at Arrowhead Pond. In their off time the Mighty Ducks take time out of their hectic schedules to attended charity events such as Dux in Tux. The Mighty Ducks suit up in tuxedos and serve as honorary waiters. This event raises money to fight against Cystic Fibrosis.
